Dr. McVean earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School, followed by a pediatric residency at the University of Colorado and a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at the University of Wisconsin. She is board-certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology.

Throughout her career, she has held esteemed positions at institutions such as the University of Minnesota, Children’s Minnesota, and Gundersen Health System. Currently, she serves as the Senior Director of Medical Affairs for Medtronic Diabetes, where she leads initiatives to advance diabetes technology and patient outcomes.
